We are searching for a Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing company! This is an on-site position located in our Nampa, Idaho Facility.
(Note - we are currently located in Caldwell, but are moving to Nampa, near I-84 and Franklin Blvd, in February through March.
) The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties such as installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities:
Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment Perform simple machinist duties Perform technical duties such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders Diagnose problems, replace/repair faulty parts, and test/adjust the repair Perform regular preventive maintenance on production and facility machines and equipment Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment to identify and repair issues Report any faulty operations, defective material, and any unusual situations to leadership Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Maintenance Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Advanced education in in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred 4
years of manufacturing experience, including strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills Steel manufacturing environment experience preferred Willingness to follow all safety procedures Ability to perform activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, crawling, crouching, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
Employee must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs as needed.
Attention to detail Ability to work in a team or independently Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn Enjoys a technical challenge Strong communication skills Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions Willing to work varied hours as needed (Hours of work vary based on season but range from Monday through Friday, 5:
